On a cloud,
I could soar,
But I'm here,
At your door,
Sitting, waiting,
Thinking, praying,
Hoping for you to be there,
I know you are, but,
You won't answer your phone,
Won't talk to me,
Won't let me alone,
Won't go away,
Won't let me forget,
Falling for you I should never regret,
I could no more leave you,
Than chew off my own arm,
But why would you care?
It would do you no harm,
But you choose to ignore,
The fact that I'm here,
But why would you notice,
For you just hate me more.
I know that you do,
I freely admit it,
But something like truth,
Just isn't quite in it,
Conviction? Perhaps,
Assertive? Indeed,
But I never really believed
That you had it to hate me.
So here in my dream
Or is it your porch?
A door opens up,

I walk in and

A prescience behind me,

In awe, at the fact that, you're so close,

"What about?" you asked,
Still not quite touching,
"I don't know, I don't care,
So long as you're here," my
Reply was wavering and weak.
I turned around to face you,
As your next words sunk deep,
I caught your eyes filled with tears.
Tears screaming, "I'm sorry! Forgive me,
Please."
I reached out to touch you, but
Alas, you were gone in a flash.
But those eyes, your eyes,
They lasted much longer.
Longer than you, or you,
Or you could remember.
No one understands,
The twisted ways of love.
But I wish that I did,
I wish that I could comprehend,
But nobody knows.
Neither the oldest nor wisest,
Nor youngest, nor purest,
Nobody knows why time goes on,
Why it never stops ticking,
But it still does, as it did as before.
The same goes for love,
Just as abnormal and strange,
Mysterious, unfathomable,
Dark and deranged.
Insane I may be, but I still know
This,
Love never, NEVER, starts,
