Tales of A Wandering Nomadimouse
Mario had kept a steady pace on the beaten down path through Dry Dry Desert. The sun was very hot, and few trees could surrender any shade. Goombario kept his pace as well behind Mario as well, but was tiring quickly.
"Oog…is there any water around here? My mouth is dryer than a Dry Bones!" Goombario whined.
"I have some water to spare," Came a voice from under a tree. "Would you like some?" It was a blue Nomadimouse, with a cloth on top of his head tied securely with a black cord.
"Yes! Erm…please." Goombario answered quickly, nearly forgetting his manners. The Nomadimouse took out several small cups ('one for me, two for friends', he said), poured water into them, poured some powder into it and garnished it with a slice of lemon. He stirred it all and handed out the cups. Goombario took a sip and the taste caught him by surprise. "It's lemonade!" He cried joyously and thankfully. The Nomadimouse laughed.
"I'm glad you enjoy it." He said. Mario sipped his quietly, and then looked up.
"Who're you?" Mario asked suspiciously. "You're not one of Bowser's followers, are you?"
"No, I am a simple Nomadimouse who has traveled all over the Mushroom Kingdom and perhaps further. My name is Seong Ty-Sun." Replied the Nomadimouse in greeting.
"I'm Mario, the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. This is my counterpart, Goombario."
"It's nice to meet you." Goombario said.
"I've heard many tales about you, Mario. Quite the adventurer, no?"
"No. I mean, yes, I am." Mario said, correcting himself. "I believe I've heard a bit about you, as well." Mario said.
"Seong Ty-Sun is very famous around the Dry Dry Desert and Dry Dry Outpost region. He's seen everything!" Goombario spoke up. Seong Ty-Sun laughed.
"Not everything, little one. I have only been so far around the world. I can tell you about some of my adventures, if you have the time to hear." Seong Ty-Sun offered.
"Sure, why not." Mario said, sitting under the tree. Seong Ty-Sun sat in deep thought about his many adventures and wondering which one to tell about first.

Author's Note: I'm sorry if this chapter seems short, I'll try and lengthen the next one. But writer's block has gotten the better of me (I'm working on several other pieces of fanfiction as well!)
