Penitence
Sasuke wasn't sure why he kept returning to that spot in the woods. Maybe it was because it was the quiet. Maybe it was to keep that pedophile off his back while he trained. Maybe because it reminded him--no.
It didn't remind him of Konoha. It didn't remind him of a home he abandoned. And it most certainly did not remind of a certain usuratonkachi, no matter how much he missed--no.
He just needed somewhere quiet to train. Yes, that was it. Sasuke went back to chucking shuriken violently at marked targets on trees, ignoring bright streaks of orange he kept seeing out of the corner of his eyes.
A/N: The only thing that might need explanations is that usuratonkachi is what Sasuke calls Naruto. Well, that and dobe.
