Hospital awakening
Sitting in the hospital, sky jumps out of her trance as Dr. karl kennedy enters the room.
"Okay Sky everything looks great. All your stats are good and your eating and well. So it looks like you're good to go home!"
"Has there been any news? Has anyone else been found?"
However Sky's eager question and hope is easily put to rest with Karl's answer.
"I'm sorry Sky but Lil, David, Serena and Boyd are all still missing. But you musn't give up hope! I'm sure they're all fine. It's only been 3 days since the accident so im sure they'll arrive home any day now!"
"Thanks Dr. Kennedy, ill call dad and get him to come and pick me up later today."
As Karl left the room, Sky felt an enormous amount of grief and worry engulf her. Not only was half her family still missing at sea, but the one peron she loved more than anything was out there too, either struggling to survive or…
Sadness overwhelmed her and as Sky sobbed into her pillow, she thought back to that horrific night that may have cost her more than 2 days in a hospital bed.
Flashback
Water. So much water.
And darkness surrounding everything.
"Oh my god. What happened? Boyd! BOYD! Serena! Lil! David! BOYD! Anyone! Please help me!"
What happened after I passed out? Where is everyone? Am I the only one who survived? Where's boyd? Please let him be alright! Oh my god it's so, so cold and dark. What's going to happen to me? I fell so faint.
End flashback.
The crying continued as Sky asked herself these questions over and over again until sleep finally took her.
