Brain sat alone in his loft, all alone. Waiting……………….., not knowing what for but just waiting.
The world had come and gone all in a flash and in only a couple of weeks Brian had gone from 'the kid who never grew up' to 'the adult'. Kind, mature, respectful. Manners that no one would ever expect from Brian Kenny!
The phone rang. Brian ignored it. Something just didn't seem right. But he couldn't see what it was. Picking up the phone, Brian answered.
"Hello."
"Hello is this Mr Kenny."
"Yes it is."
"Hello, this is Dianne Sue from Private Housing; I understand you wish to sell your new house."
Brian thought it over for a minute, is this really what he wanted. After he'd worked so hard to get the man of his dreams to agree to marry him, and bought the best house money could buy, could he just give it all up?
"No, sorry you got that all wrong."
"Excuse me."
"I'm not selling; you'll have the cheque within a week."
Brian slammed down the phone and raced to the airport, hoping he wouldn't be too late. Looking around frantically he tried to find Justin. He started yelling frantically.\
"JUSTIN, JUSTIN!"
Finally he noticed him sitting on a bench looking at a magazine.
"It took you long enough." He said.
"Justin, I don't want you to go." Said Brain in an unusually desperate voice.
"And I don't want to go either."
"So what are we gonna do?"
"Well," said Brain coyly.
"We still have everything, waiting."
"What are you saying?"
"Let's give it another go."
"Ok…….."
Brian picked Justin up and spun him around; things were ending the way they should. Brian and Justin were going to be married.
