This is the day after Part 1
'Liv?'
'Huh. What, Elliot. You're pissing me off.'
'Were you ever going to tell me?'
'Tell you what. I don't tell you everything about my life.'
'well you should, we're partners aren't we?'
'You mean like you told me about your divorce?'
'I did, I told you when I was shot. Remember.'
'No I mean when it first happened. You didn't and that hurt.'
'Well I'm sorry, when are you going to quit trying to get me back for something that happened so long ago?'
'Who said I was trying to get you back?'
'Wlel you would have told me otherwise ,' he said, gesturing at her visible stomach.
'Oh well. I guess I didn't think you'd care.'
'That hurts!' He threw down his file. 'You know I love my kids. Why wouldn't I love yours? When are you due?'
'In a couple weeks.'
'Didn't even know you were involved with someone'
She shrugged her shoulders. She didn't want him up in her business.
'That hurts,' he said, brushing away a tear that slipped down his face. 'We used to talk to each other.'
'Yeah well we're different. I have my priorities and you have yours. You have...her' She found herself unable to say the woman's name. It wasn' t fair.
'Liv.'
'Don't Elliot, just don't,' she said, getting up to get a cup of coffee.
'You shouldn't have caffeine while pregnent.'
'Get ff my case, would you?' she asked, pickin gup her cell phone. 'Hon? Yeah. Dinner's good. Jr. and I are craving something sweet. Like um.. you' she said with a giggle. 'Yeah see you soon.'
'That the boy?'
She glared at Elliot. 'A man, not a boy. Someone who takes responsibility and cares. Not a bonk buddy'
'That hurts Liv. That really hurts. It wasn't what was supposed to be.'
'Never is.'
'You gonna punish me forever?'
'Only until you learn to do math'
So should I continue? Thanks! R&R!
