Lost and its characters belong to JJ Abrams, Bad Robot and crew. I'm just borrowing for some fun. Jack finds a surprise in the jungle.

Lost – On the Other Side

Jack watched through the dark green leaves and vines. He'd stumbled upon them. He was sure he wasn't supposed to see. He stared anyways, feeling hurt and abandoned. Sawyer's back pressed up against a tree; Kate's hand gliding up underneath his shirt. She stood on tip-toe, her tongue delving deeper and deeper until Jack had to look away. He heard Sawyer's moan, heard him say her name. Her real name.

Not Freckles or Dimples or Sweetheart.

Kate.

Kate, like he meant it. Like he wanted her. Because he did. He wanted her more than Jack did. Jack felt his heart pull roughly inside like it was being stabbed and he was jealous as he watched the dirty blonde hair sliding down to tickle her cheekbones. Jack watched the smile spread on her lips and in the break, he could see their tongues dancing. More passionately than he'd ever had with her. Sawyer's hands spread wide across her buttocks, bringing her up as he moved against her.

They were rocking now and Jack heard her sigh, her head resting on Sawyer's chin a moment and Jack watched her hand slide down between their bodies, rubbing at Sawyer's pants, making him cry out once, something guttural, just before he grabbed her arms, squeezing tightly and twirled, slamming her into the tree. She shouted and he crushed her lips with his own. Jack turned away, pressing his own back against a tree and swallowed dryly, feeling his throat burn with the motion.

He didn't understand, only, he did. He shouldn't have turned them away. He pushed so hard that they ran. Straight into each other's arms. Jack turned his head slightly when she yelped and saw them on the ground, Sawyer's hands working her pants off, his own erection now gleaming in the afternoon sun. Jack brought a hand to his mouth, stifled his surprise and then closed his eyes, pressing them shut tightly when she shouted his name. His real name. Not Sawyer or Cowboy or any other stupid nickname she'd given him over the years.

James.

James, like she meant it. Like she wanted him. Because she did.
