Winter Snow

It was bitter weekend for Tenten. The weather had not favored in her wishes. A harsh winter wind howled like the wolves that haunted her dreams at times. The snow stained an icy cover over her window in her apartment. She sat staring off through her wide window out at the street. The street light flickered under the snow causing the froze water to shine like a diamond. She slowly traced her finger over the window when her hazel eyes feel apon a walking figure. His ivory hair whirled in the wind and frost bit at his face. Neji. "What the devil is he doing out in this weather," she hissed lowly causing the frost the melt on her warm breathe. She quickly stood up and hastened down the frigid steel stairs and out the door. "Neji what are you doing," she scolded when the cold weather hit her. Goosbumps shadowed her skin and she rubbed her arms walking over to her teamate. His glazed cold eyes met hers and he turned looking down at her. "What is it," he said flattly. Tenten did her motherly pose by putting her hands on her hips and tapping her foot. "I asked you that same question, so answer me first, but lets go inside ok it is freezing," she said through her chattering teeth. Neji wasn't going to agrue he too was have frozen and covered in frost he nodded and followed the young weapon mistress into her home.

She sighed turning over toward her teamate, smiling. "So answer me, why were you out there," she said with a sweet smile on her face. Neji grunted and crossed his arms, and turned his head. She couldn't help but notice a faint hint of red on his pale cheek, which caused her to think he had caught a fever. She walked up to him placing her scared and bandaged hand on his forehead. "Neji, you baka you caught a fever," she smiled softly and pulled her hand back. To be honest Neji didn't feel to well, he sighed. Tenten took a cloth from the table and walked into the into the bathroom. Neji sat down in a chair by the window where tenten once sat, gazing out toward the street. Neji could hear the sound of running water and then Tenten came out with a wet cloth. "Neji go lay on the couch," she said in her stern voice, and ever Neji knew not to argue.Neji walked over to a small counch and rested himself on it. It was quite soft even for him, Tenten pulled over the old wooden chair and sat it by the sofa. She gently placed the rag on his forehead, and sighed smiling. "Ok you stay here and I will get you something to drink ok," she rose and disappeared into the kitchen. Neji sat in silent poundering weither or not to tell Tenten his reason for beginning out in such horrid weather. So he smirked to himself and choose to show her.

He slowly rose to his feet and walked toward the kitchen. He saw her slim figure clutching a glass. She was beautiful, everything about her caused his chest to fill with butterflies. He took a step toward her. he knew it was her. Her hand still bandages from her hard warkmanship, she was perfect. So he wanted her him seventeen and her sixteen still beautiful and both in their prime. She didn't eve notice the man walking toward her she was off in space until two arms gripped her hand and spun her around. There was a shatter of glass when Neji's lips captured the young weapon mistress's firms lips. Her hazel eyes widened, she found herself up agaist the counter with Neji towering over her. He smirked to himself at her state and he loved it, hell he loved everything about her and this just made it better. He separated his lips from her and leaned down whispering in her ear. "The reason I was her was to say this, I love you." He smirked softly before capturing her lips again, and this time she was much obliged by this, she closed her eyes and the faint image of the winter snow still lingered in her mind. Neji was her winter snow.
