Prologue
Three summers ago, we found the pants. You must know the story by now, and if you don't, tough. Just kidding I'll explain it. Well, we found the pants in the back of Carmen's drawers. Surprisingly, the pants fit all of us. Now let me make this clear, we have four very different body shapes and builds. So we decided to make an event out of it, to keep us together when we are apart.
Like I said, we are four different girls, four different people with similar childhoods, because we and our mothers were inseparable. But then my mom died of depression, which tore the Senior Septembers apart. Ok back to the point, we are all like different types of movies.
Carmen would be a chick flick, like Sweet Home Alabama. She it takes her awhile, but she eventually get it right, whatever that is supposed to mean. She makes a lot of mistakes, and she can have multiple personalities. Carmen will be corny at times, but she is a lot of times correct when she corny.
Then there is Tibby. She would be a documentary (what a coincidence, she makes them too), like Super Size Me. She would have all the facts. She is also just plain weird or gross sometimes. She sticks to the point.
Lena would be an animated Disney movie, like The Lion King. She can be dramatic at times, she is quiet and shy. She has been through so much, and sometimes things don't make sense to her (if you don't know what I am talking about, here is your hint: it has something to do with Kostos). She thinks she knows the way, but sometimes she gets lost. But she will always have a happy ending in the end.
And I, Bridget, would be an action adventure with a little romance. I would be like Mr. and Mrs. Smith (A/N I've never seen the movie but I'm going to wing it) lots of sex, and a whole lot of violence. I am almost out of control at times. But that does not happen nearly as much now, seeing I have learned how to protect myself. I am a girl without a mother. Also about the romance part, I have Eric, we have decided that we are going to make it an exclusive relationship, and that we are going to try to talk to each other at least on an email once a day.
We are now going off to college, and our separate ways for the first time, this is the first time we've ever been through a whole school year without each other. Luckily we are all within four hours of each other, because otherwise, I'd die. But Lenny is at least near me, at RI School of Design so she can help me, and I can help her with college.
I, Bridget, am going to Brown. I'm going to be on the women's soccer team. Even though I don't have the best grades, my soccer seemed to help me quite a bit. It should be interesting. Eric is going to be a senior at Columbia, and since we are both at Ivy League schools, we will see each other sometimes, like when we travel for games and stuff. Well, at least I'm not in a different part of the country, like California. Now that would be interesting. But I don't even want to think about that.
But to say the least, this is going to be an exciting year.
