This is a Christmas poem and it's about what we really should think about on the Holidays when the whole world is crazy. So please read and review.

December the 25th

It's the season to be jolly,

ornaments, trees, and holly

everyone saying

happy holidays and seasons greetings.

"But what's the true meaning?"

It isn't about good food, presents,

and family acting merry and gay

it's because Christ was born today

just so He could pay a horrible price

so we could say to the kids

"Have you been naughty or nice?"

So listen to my proposition

I don't care if you're Jewish or Christian when you say

merry Christmas, happy holidays

or whatever you want to use

just remember Christ was abused

to take our sin away

keep that in mind

when you're being merry on December 25th

Christmas day

and when you're gathered around the tree

remember God's ultimate gift

that started on December the 25th.
