It's been two days now. Two long and tormented nights. He's been lying right where we put him in the bedroom. Hasn't moved an inch… You would think that he would be stalking about, yelling at Mustang about the red stones, or cursing him for coming after them, or even hating himself for trying to bring their mother back. Though you never know, he may be doing the last one in his head at the moment. He's been just laying there, blank eyed, staring at the ceiling. Maybe he's reliving the last moments again and again in his head; trying to see where he could have changed it. Where it all went wrong.
It all started when we were walking back to my house after Mustang had caught them. I just had to ask him where his watch was. I should have never opened my mouth… After that, the events get a little blurry. Al mentioned something about red stones, and then Ed went off on the Colonel. For me, the whole scene goes in slow motion. Ed shaking Mustang, Al rushing to get Ed off of him, then a bright red light. Al flying back towards the water. Landing with a huge splash. Me, yelling that Al couldn't get wet, or the blood mark would disappear. Ed letting Mustang go. Screaming Al's name while running towards the bank. I can still hear him yelling, "AL! AL! ALPHONESE!"
Then…
AN: I'm sure that I don't need to tell you that most everyone will be OOC. I can't really get into anyone but Ed's head. (Hey! That rimes! I'm a poet… and I am SOO not finishing that…) Please review so I can find out how much you care. PLEASE!
