Chase's Christmas

T'was the day of Christmas

All through the lair

Nothing moved

Not even a hair

An old young-looking man

Was too busy meditating

So, he wasn't celebrating

He did not like Chrismas

Said it was a waste of time

He never spent money on presents

Not even a dime

Finishing his meditation session,

Chase walked through a town

He must have been the only person

Wearing a frown

When carolers tried to sing to him

He told them to git

Whenever someone told him "Merry Christmas, friend!"

He'd say "I don't give a shit."

Chase peered into windows

Glaring at the happy old people inside

"What do they have to be happy for?

While I have eternity, they only have a few more years to be alive!"

Then, he saw the Dragons, accompanied by Jack Spicer

Chase was surprised, so he hid behind a tree to get a closer glancer

They were talking about random things

Like what they wanted from Ol' Saint Nick

"I want some salisbury steak!" said the grinning hick.

"I'd like a new CD!" said Kimiko

Rai said "I want a new video game!"

"Really?" the yellow monk asked

"All I want is a last name."

Clay looked at Jack, who had remained silent

He asked him what he wanted for Christmas

Jack looked up and replies "A friend." and went violet

They were all startled, Chase Young included

They had all expected him to scream "WORLD DOMINATION!"

Or something even more deluded

Omi smiled widely and Clay placed a hand on Jack's shoulder

Rai wrapped an arm around Jack and Kim kissed Jack's cheek

Which made Chase's glare go colder

"What were those for?" Jack asked, his confusion growing

Clay smiled at him "Merry Christmas, partner!"

"We shall be your friends!" Omi said, his grinning face glowing

"You can stay at the Temple with us!" Rai raised his arms in the air

"We'll even make you a new room." Kim added

Clay: "So, how about it?"

Jack thought for a second, then nodded.

Then, they all embraced him into an almost bone-breaking hug

Exploding into a loud cheer

Chase gagged. "I've had just enough of this.

I'm out of here."

He teleported to his home and stomped off to his room

Images of the town events filling his head, about to burst

Chase covered his head with his blanket

"Out of all of the sickening Christmas's I've seen, this one had to be the worst."

My first poem! It's probably sucky, but still! I tried. It kept nipping at the back of my head until I wrote this. Tell me what you thought of it! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

P.S. I wanted to post it on Christmas, but my stupid computer wouldn't let me! I hate dial-up so frickin' much!
