Back in the feudal era Kagome sat on a large rock tying up a pair of ice skates. It was a bitter cold December morning and she was down at the lake in Kaede's village and was testing out the lake to see if it was good enough to skate on. She stood up unaware she wasn't alone and lost her balance falling backwards. Just as she was about to fall onto the ground Inuyasha caught her and lifted her up holding onto her so she wouldn't fall again.
"Inuyasha?" she asked startled at his presence.
"Hm?" He asked looking at her with his golden eyes. She smiled and blushed a little.
"What are you doing here?"
"Making sure your okay." He said turning a little red. "Hey what are you doing anyway?" He asked looking down at her skates curiously.
"It's called Ice skating. Want to try?"
"Uhhh…" He answered nervously. He had never skated before; he wasn't so sure what it was.
"I'll show you, common!" She grabbed his hand and pulled him onto the ice. His eyes got huge and he leaned on Kagome for support. She laughed and let go skating around him.
"She looks so graceful…" He thought. "And so beautiful…" He said staring at her. She stopped and looked at him. "Something wrong?" He shook his head no and she continued skating doing a figure eight then grabbing his hands pulling him around.
