When seeing in gray,
Life seems the same,
Day-to-Day.
But then you have color
Like, blue and yellow and red.
Then seeing in grey,
Just doesn't cut.
You can't imagine living,
Without the rainbow,
Without the Christmas lights,
Without the color,
Life is just mellow.
When being alone,
Life seems dull,
By youself.
But then you fall in love,
With a person who's all you dreamed of.
Now being alone,
Just doesn't fit.
You can't imagine living,
Without the warm fuzzies,
Without the cold nights cuddled up,
Without a brimming heart,
Life is empty.
When you live,
Life is exciting,
Every single day.
But then, age set's in,
And you can only dream of the life you lived,
And you'll never be content,
And slow of wit.
You can't imagine living,
Without those tumbles,
Without the daring,
Without the adventure,
Now, Life is used.
When dead,
You're not sure,
If you feel anything
Did your soul ascend,
Or are you in limbo?
Maybe even God doesn't know.
Is this worth the emotions?
You can't imagine empty death,
With the love you had,
With the hatred you carried,
With the sorrows you shared.
Now, Life has become a pointless journey.
And you traveled all that way...
Hey, this is just another random poem that I came up with while listening to 3 Doors Down. I like it. I think that it covers almost all the questions that I hold within my soul, in verse.
I am awesome, Fear me ye mortals.
How does that go? AH, yes!
Heaven won't accept me, and Hell's afraid I'll take over; Fear me ye mortals!
I added that. Thought it was cool. shrug
