A Christmas of Love
It was the day before Christmas break at Casper High School and everyone was getting ready for the upcoming holidays. Danny, Sam and Tucker were no exception. Each of them had big plans for the holidays and that meant several weeks of FUN!
"Hey Sam, what are you doing for Christmas break?" Tucker asked his Goth best friend as they put their books away and prepared to go home for four weeks. "I'm probably going to just spend time with my family," Sam replied as she shoved the last of her books in her locker and touched up her makeup. "Is there anything in particular you want for Christmas, say, something with black hair and blue eyes perhaps?" Tucker asked. "If you mean Danny, then no, of course not." "I didn't say it was Danny," Tucker answered. "Oh, come on Tuck. Who else has black hair and blue eyes that's a boy?" "Point taken. Come on Sam, you know you like him." "Maybe I do, but I don't know if he likes me back and I don't want to ruin our friendship," Sam replied. "Do you want Danny, or not?" "I do." "Then you have to tell him how you feel. If you don't tell him, he'll never know and I know just how you can do it." "How?" "My family's having a party on Christmas Eve. Why don't you come, I'll invite Danny, and you can tell him there," Tucker replied. "I'll arrange a time for you two to be alone and you can tell him then." "Okay, I'll do it."
Soon enough, it was Christmas Eve and the night of Tucker's party. Danny and Sam both showed up right on time and both acted extremely awkward around each other. Finally, they all went upstairs to find something to do until dinner was ready. Tucker had already arranged ahead of time for his mom to call him to help with dinner, so that he'd have an excuse to leave Danny and Sam alone together. Sam, who wasn't sure if she was ready to confess her feelings to Danny, suggested that they go help Tucker with dinner. "Sam wait," Danny called. She stopped and turned to face him. "There's something I have to tell you," Danny said. "you remember the incident with Ember earlier this year, how she made me fall in love with you? Well, the feelings I had during that time haven't gone away. then, when you kissed me behind that bush to make sure Valerie left us alone, I have to confess, I enjoyed every moment of it." "You did?" "Yeah. I think Ember's music just brought out feelings that were already there in the first place. The truth is, I love you Sam." "Oh Danny, I love you too." They looked at each other for a brief moment and then they kissed like they never wanted to stop. They had each gotten what they wanted most for Christmas—each other's love.
