Caged for eternity
Wanting, waiting, yearning, for something, but what...
It's so lonely. Why I'm I here? Why? I didn't do anything wrong so why... Why do I yearn for something...I can't see...Why...?
My eye's open to the dirt cage of earth. Nothing's changed, not a thing. I can't recall how much time has passed since I awoke to this prison, it's could be years but I do not know.
I slowly sit up and look up at my prison of dirt, my home for... I don't no how long I've been here, but I think it been years.
Oh well just thinking about how long I've been here makes me sick.
I slowly crawl to the front of my cage my prison my... Home no this not my home.
I look at the only thing keeping me from leaving this cage of dirt and rocks those paper things the keep me here imprisoned here in this mountain.
I slowly breathe in the night's air. Listening to the sounds of the night. They sound so peaceful and...Free.
I reach out to the moon as if to grab it out of the sky.
My arm passes the bars of my prison .But as soon as my arm was a foot outside it, it started to burn, like it was on fire.
I quickly retracted my arm from outside my cage. I sigh
No there is no escape. Escape is not an option
