I do not own Harry Potter or its characters; they belong to the wonderful J.K. Rowling.
And all songs used in this fanfic belong to Kelly Clarkson.
But the story is all mine!
It's all about Ginny Weasley and Tom Riddles diary. Some of it is faithful to the book, some to the film, but I made some twists for it all to fit into my story, please review at the end, please don't flame, leave some constructive criticism.
Thank-you.

Chapter 1
She reached into the bucket to get her book, she would never let on, but Lucius Malfoy's words had hurt her more then she could ever have thought they could. Being poor never bothered her before, but now. Who would want to be friends with a poor girl? And it wasn't like she was pretty like Hermione, she was plain and her face was covered in freckles and she hated her Lanky ginger hair, who would want to date her? Harry never noticed her, she bet he was pretending to be her friend; he pitied her, because she was ugly and poor.
Her hand clasped the book, it felt thicker. As she lifted it out a black book slipped from her fingers. She gasped in surprise.
She never realised how much she had, that's why it happened.
She gently placed her second hand book on the draws. Slowly she knelt down and picked up the book. It looked classy and expensive, couldn't be hers, Mlsofy must have dropped it. She sat on the edge of the bed and ran her fingers across the word; DIARY. A little spark went of in her stomach; could it be Lucius's diary?
Time for revenge.
She eagerly turned the cover to see the name 'T.M. Riddle'.
Disappointment hit, it wasn't Malfoy's, she'd never heard of T.M. Riddle. She looked at the cover again, of course, how could it be Malfoy's, it was dated 50 years ago, and he wasn't that old, unless he had wand plastic surgery, she wouldn't be surprised. With that thought the ides that she was holding a 50 year old diary excited her, even though as she leafed through it she saw it was empty. Why would Malfoy have this? Or maybe he didn't put it there. She didn't know.
She decided it would be hers; she wasn't giving it back to Malfoy. She could write all her problems in it, she wouldn't be able to afford anything better. She picked up a pen and scribbled out the name. Then her heart did a leap, the ink had disappeared. She turned the page to see if the ink had seeped through the paper. It hadn't. Curious she wrote her name, 'Ginny Weasley'. It sank in the paper. Then writing began to appear, she gasped and dropped it. Afraid she thought this isn't just a diary. In fear and excitement she picked it up, "Hello Ginny, I'm Tom Riddle" One word escaped her lips, "Wow".
That was the end of chapter 1.
