Gone. They're dead...technically. The villagers are gone, they fought the beast and then they ascended. Teer wanted me to come with her but I told her that I was not ready yet. I doubt I ever will.
Suddenly guilt gnaws at me. Why do I feel so guilty for sleeping with Teer?

I feel Elizabeth step up closer to me and I'm feeling even guiltier. One second I was sure I'd never see her...them again and the next second she's standing just few feet away from me, her eyes looking up and down my body and smiling that way and commenting on my bearded face.

'Let's get outta here.' I say, more than glad to head back home.
