This is Bob. Bob is a janitor at the Opera House. He likes to clean windows and mirrors. He also loves to go boating in his spare time. Bob isn't the smartest man in the world; but one day he aspires to be head janitor at the Opera House.

One day, Bob was mopping the floors in Christine's dressing room when he noticed that the mirror needed cleaning. Bob's heart pounded; he loved to clean mirrors! Bob got out his trusty Windex and sprayed it on the mirror. He rubbed and rubbed but the grime wouldn't come off. Bob put some elbow grease into it.

All of a sudden, the mirror moved. Bob stared. The mirror was a sliding door! Bob pushed it open and looked down the dank tunnel. Bob decided to go on break. He stepped through the mirror, clutching his Windex spray bottle in one hand, and a rag in the other.

Bob slid the mirror shut behind him as he wandered down the passageway. Bob smiled to himself; he'd get a lot of overtime cleaning this hallway! He walked down about five stories. He was beginning to tire. Then he came across a subterranean lake. Bob was excited: there was a boat! Bob stepped in the boat and rowed across the lake, expertly steering through the waterways of the Opera House.

Bob eventually got to a candle-lit shore. He pulled the boat up and got out. He looked around: candles everywhere, music, drawings, and a pipe organ. Bob stared in awe.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" a voice boomed from deeper inside the lair. Bob froze. "Just the janitor, no need to worry!" Bob called back. A masked figure appeared and walked towards him. Bob cringed in fear. "Janitors don't come here," the figure said.

"I'll just be leaving then," Bob stammered, backing away.

"Oh, but if you leave, you'll spread the word about me. I can't let you leave, Monsieur."

Bob panicked; the figure had a rope in his hands. Bob guessed what it was for. Bob raised his hand in defense. Then Bob realized what he was holding: Windex! Bob sprayed it in the figure's face, causing the figure to falter.

Bob jumped in the boat and paddled furiously, watching in horror as the masked figure cursed and wiped his stinging eyes. Bob rowed and rowed, the figure eventually leaving his line of vision as he rounded a corner.

Once Bob finished running up the five stories back to Christine's dressing room, he immediately quit his job for fear that the Opera Ghost would kill him for spraying Windex in his face. Of course, he didn't write that as his reason for quitting.
