Completely Shot Down

By: Kowareta

Summary: Remember that huge spirit gun blast that Yusuke shot Sensui with? What if he killed more than just Sensui and a couple miles of forest?

Disclaimer: I do not own Yu Yu Hakusho, but I can spell its name correctly.

Demon world, it is said, is generally regarded as a wicked place. Its inhabitants, too, are easily stereotyped and labeled--"Unjustly!" The protestors say. "Unjustly!"--as evil. All the time. Twenty four hours; seven days a week. It's a rather difficult job being evil all the time, but for the most part, it can be rewarding. There are no sick days, but this is seen as necessary because instead there are paid vacations, dental plans, stock options, and yearly bonuses. Life Insurance is offered, though, most demons that got it clearly did not qualify.

However, the social hierarchy of evil is a hard one to climb and it is likely that it would be better to stay near the bottom where one can get their kicks bombing the hell out of small, prudent villages.

Speshul, a tall woman with long black hair and a fairly large chest, was hiking through the Forest of Fools. She wore very insensible hiking gear and dark-colored fox ears poked out from her head.

Speshul was…well… special. And naturally, evil.

She was devastatingly beautiful. Her long silky legs trudged over the forest's undergrowth unfalteringly and her ridiculously pale skin blinded small mammals that could get close enough to see. A small button nose stood on-center of her face, and her intense golden eyes surveyed the land around like headlights.

Speshul was heading to the human world to look for her long lost love, Youko Kurama. They had met through thieving and from there, all the jewels in the world could not buy away the clichés of this romantic development.

They were both rare fox demons. Old too.

Oh her small and lovely heart was aflame with a fiery love that could outlast even the hottest flame in hell. Of course, she really should have started looking for him sooner. Not realizing her love had been technically dead for fifteen years did put a slight dent in the thought that her mental capacities were high, but she ignored this. She would find her love. After all, she'd heard rumor that he'd not died but in fact lived.

Shinobu Sensui hadn't realized it, but what he'd really created was a plot hole.

Speshul's ears pricked when she noticed that it had suddenly become extremely windy. Windy like the dark winding corridors of her past. Windy like the throes of whiney angst that she had fallen cripple to. She had been abused physically, sexually, mentally, meta-physically, and they had torn up her beloved peonies. Why, oh, why did they tear away her peonies? The sole purpose in her life had been ripped away like it were her own flesh and blood.

And it was possible that they had been. She often felt that she was missing a limb or two. But not really. Her perfectly sexy body had no scar. Which struck her as odd. If she'd really suffered all that abuse wouldn't there at least be--?

No! She would not think that way. She told herself that she had nothing but scars on her heart that only Youko Kurama could heal. Yes! Only he! Her love!

Speshul hardly expected a massive blast of hot energy to suddenly collide with her out of virtually nowhere. It was even more unexpected that this energy would be ferrying an awfully tall man along with it.

The woman screamed and soon perished. Sensui tried blinking the woman's ashes out of his eyes. He hated it when dirt decided to drop in on him. He made a mental note that all dirt was evil and must be eliminated.
