FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST

Chapter one: The fallen

"Man, I exhausted." The blonde alchemist said, laying his head into his crossed arms on the counter table, "When the hell is the food going to be here? I'm starving."

"Now, now, brother." Al said, "The food will come any minute, just relax for once."

"Sorry, about that." the cook finally appeared, "The food took longer than I thought. I

didn't mean to make you wait."

Without bothering to forgive him, Edward began scoff his food.

"Hey! Is that the full metal alchemist!" a voice called out, making Ed, with his mouth stuffed with food, and Al turn their attention to the noise.

"Yeah, that's him!" another voice said.

"Wow, I can't believe he would be in a place like this!" another one added.

"It looks like we've got whole bunch of fans, brother." Al chuckled.

"Meh." Ed muffled through his food-stuffed mouth, "Mahever"

"Huh?" Al said, "You should eat with your mouth full, brother."

Finally swallowing the food down, Ed smiled, "Sorry about that, Al."

Without warning they were surrounded by numerous of excited and curious people.

"Oh my god!" one young woman giggled, "I can't believe I've touched him! He's real!"

"Now, I see why they called him the fullmetal alchemist!" another girl chirped.

"Yeah," the elderly man said. "He's completely metal!"

"HEY!" Ed hollered at the distracted crowd that was flocking around Alphonse, "I'm Edward Elric! Not him!"

Unable to get any attention, Ed growled angrily and furiously clap his hands together, "They want alchemy; I'll show those idiots alchemy!

"Edward Elric…" A voice of a young girl came from behind him, "I can't believe it's you. You're the fullmetal alchemist…."

Ed stared dumbfounded as the girl approached him.

"Wow, this is amazing!" she began, "I always admired you. Ever since I heard rumors that you became state alchemist at such a young age, I was looking forward to meeting you."

"Nice to meet you, too." Ed smiled slightly, "At least you're not those idiots that think my little brother is the full metal alchemist."

"Oh, really." She laughed, "Well, let him can divert them, I want to show you my alchemy skills."

"I'm sorry but I can't." Ed sighed, "I'm looking for something important right now."

"Like what?" she asked curiously, "maybe I can help…"

"Do you know what a philosopher's stone is?" Ed asked.

"Yeah, a red stone; that's all I know-"

"Okay, well, thanks anyway."

"Wait a sec" she continued, "my dad has a lot of information about alchemy and he was studying heavily on history of philosopher's stone, too…so-"

"What the hell are we waiting for?" Ed said with excitement.

"AL, I WANT YOU TO HOLD ON UNTIL I COME BACK, OKAY?" Ed yelled over the crowd.

"Where are you going, brother?" Al whined, "Don't leave me!"

"I'll be back, Al!" Ed called back, "I'm promise!"
