Disclaimer: I don't own Alex and Izzie.

He watches her from afar, stares at her, craves for her. Alex has this permanent memory of Izzie inside of his mind of her shape and form standing before him. He imagines the softness of her skin against his body, feeling the curves of her breasts on him. He needs her and wants her all to himself.

He sits in the locker room leaning his head against the wall, closes his eyes, images of her in the shower comes to his mind. She turns on the faucet to the gentle cycle, sprays of water hitting against her naked body, cold liquid running untamely throughout her, in and out, all around, back and front. Water's trailing down her cool wet skin, trickling slowly down. Beads of water are slithering down her throat, onto her breast, into her navel, searching for a rest stop between her legs.

Alex hears a door slam and is brought back into reality and is surprised to see her.

"What?" Izzie says out loud, her hands on her hips, head cocked to one side. "Breaks over, Karev! Your patient's asking for you in 312."

"Look, Izzie, I think we need to talk." Just a touch of her hand, he leaned in for a kiss. For a split second she just stood there waiting, but then, caught herself.

"Get away from me. Go tend to your patient or better yet to Olivia. Bet you can't wait to get your hands all over her! Again!"

He sighs loudly, gets up, stretches and leave. Sometimes you say it best, when you say nothing at all.

"Bastard," Izzie mumbles to herself.

She leans her head on the locker. No matter how hard she tries not to, thoughts of him keeps popping into her head. How she wanted to grab him, throw him up against the wall and lose control. She was tempted to feel him, taste him, her mouth heavy and hot on his lips. She wonders if he tastes the same all over. Her hands travels up his shirt, clenching her fist and biting down onto his shoulder. She wants to feel him as he moves with her until they both finally explode at the same time. But, she feels betrayed. So, it is all a fantasy to her, which goes through her mind, that is all she allows herself to feel, because Isobel Stevens, never forgives and won't forget.

When you want someone to love you, open your heart.

"I can't," she cries to herself. "I can't. Besides, he'll only hurt me again. Damn you, Alex!"

Even if she wanted to forgive him, there is one obstacle that stops her from going to him. It is that lance through her heart which can never be removed.
