Ichigo – Quatrain 1
There are old friends and new friends and there are those whom one finds difficult to even think about as friends.
Ties with people have nothing to do with how long you know the other party.
There are those annoying things like fate and destiny and all those things in between that make two people more than close – matters of the heart always drives him around the bend.
He knows her, what, a few months; he knows her since they were children in Rukongai: both of them would do anything for her, both of them were brash, loud, annoying and… oh god the similarity!
Renji – Quatrain 2
He does not know how to be subtle or how to deal with politics and nobles – his way stems from the honoured tradition of the eleventh division: beat the other guy up 'cos the strongest is always right.
The boy is very young and extremely rash but Renji knows enough about this one to see him both as an ally and a threat all in one powerful-yet-screwed-up package.
He used to think he knows what is best for Rukia – she's an idiot about things sometimes and doesn't get self-preservation – so he lets her go that one time to the Kuchiki house all alone; he knows better now, no way some orange haired punk gonna steal her away without a fight.
She made them stronger, made them more -- so much so that they are better than before – she is the only one (he and Ichigo knows) that can put both of them in their place with either a well aimed, painful kick or a haughty glare, it all comes back to one thing: ownage.
Rukia – Last QuatrainShe acts no differently with the both of them, they are severely lacking in several areas that involve emotional maturity and plain common sense.
Her two boys work well as a team together – probably with the agreement that they should keep her safe since any danger she would find herself in would undeniably be their fault and no else else's, egoistic bastards they are.
It is strange that despite how well they thought they knew her, maybe just maybe, they didn't know her as well as she wanted – they knew enough to let her fight her own battles and when to come to her defence.
Maybe that is all she needs after all; she loves them both equally and she wouldn't know how to choose one over the other but she wonders if they would fight each other for her, she grins maniacally – they wouldn't dare.
They should know better but when the hell would they start courting her dammit – didn't those shoujou manga say that proclamations of love revolve around gifts, food and general worship?
She decides: whoever gives her the first Chappy anything will be the one she keeps.
