Disclaimer: I DON'T own Teen Titans... if I did Raven would have been with beastboy in a second!
this is a one-shot no sequels, my first fic, please go easy on me.
The Look In Her Eyes
He absolutely loved her, he couldn't fool himself any longer, it was not a simple crush; it was love! He loved everything about her from her purple hair to her beautiful pale skin to her sarcastic comments.
She loved him. She had been to Nevermore at least fifteen times to confirm it. She was in love with the stupid green changeling. He was so stupid... but he was so cute always trying to get her to laugh.
Everyone noticed, except Beastboy and Raven herself, that every time she looked at Beastboy, she got the most peculiar look in her eyes. Raven knew, deep down, she could never be with the changeling.
Even if she tried to love and be with him, every time she would try to show emotion something bad would happen, most recently the toaster exploding. She had ran off after that, to her room to meditate as she always did when something like that happened. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos" she would repeat, to calm down her emotions.
Start Flashback
"Hey Rae," Beastboy said with a smile.
She scowled at him and replied "My name is Raven, that is if you are smart enough to remember that."
Beastboy just kept on smiling, "Guess what Rae...ven?"
Raven rolled her eyes and kept on reading one of her books.
He pouted, "Come on, please guess!"
She thought, probably just some stupid joke... might as well humor him. "Allright Garfield, what?"
"Yeah! Wait... how did you know my name!"
She smiled, "I have my sources."
"Noooo you have contacts in the government don't you! Or alien spies!"
She smiled condescendingly(sp) "It's on the computer files Garfield."
He blushed, "Oh, I knew that!"
"Sure. So, what did you want to tell me?"
He smiled, "Knock knock."
"Oh no," Raven groaned, another stupid joke that isn't funny. Oh when will he give up! "Beastboy I'm going to my room. You aren't funny in any way and you need to stop acting like a child and... and... grow up!"
The poor innocent toaster then blew up as Raven ran away, leaving the stunned green boy sitting there.
End Flashback
Well he deserved it, Raven thought to herself, I was a little bit harsh, but he needs to learn to grow up!
One Week Later
Beastboy wasn't laughing, playing video games, watching t.v., or doing anything and Raven had hardly seen him at all. It seemed as soon as she walked into a room, he walked out of it. Raven got tired of it and decided to confront the changeling.
She finally cornered him in a hallway with a dead end. "Beastboy what's the matter? You haven't been... annoying at all."
"Nothing's wrong," Garfield replied in a monotone frighteningly familiar to Raven's own, "I just took your advice and grown up."
"Garfield..."
Raven was then caught up in a large flood of emotions and hugged Beastboy tightly, "I was wrong... you just need to be yourself... be the Garfield that... that I loved."
Beastboy blushed and whispered, "I thought you hated me?"
Raven looked at him "Never... you're just a bit annoying."
They both then realized they were still hugging and, blushing, seperated, although they seemed reluctant.
"So, this mean we're going out?" Garfield asked hopefully.
Raven smiled and gave him a small peck on the lips, "Of course it does you idiot..."
"I love you Rae."
"I love you too Gar."
End! Fin!
