"Daddy... When mommy be home?" Jaxon Durron asked his father.

"Soon sport… She just had to make a quick errand." Kyp replied as he played Rebellion Vs Empire with his almost three year old son. He was the TIE fighter, and Jaxon was the X-Wing. He laughed every time Jaxon crashed his X-Wing into the TIE fighter, making a small Boom noise.

"But me wan' her now" Jaxon groaned before taking a drink from his sippy cup. Kyp sighed, running his hand through his hair. "But you're with Daddy! She'll be home in a few minutes." He stood up slowly, stretching out his legs.

"Daddy, I sweepy." Jaxon said, rubbing his eyes with his little hands.

Kyp picked him up, "How about we take a nap, and I'll wake you up when mommy gets here?" Jaxon nodded in agreement as Kyp walked into his bedroom. "Daddy I want to sweep in your bed." Kyp made a quick 180 and walked to his own room. He pulled back the covers on the bed a little, and laid Jaxon down. "How's that sport?" Jaxon began sucking his thumb, causing his little voice to muffle, "Daddy I want you stay." Kyp couldn't tell his son no, so he hopped on the bed, "How's this?" "Bedder." Within minutes, Jaxon was asleep. Kyp got up slowly, making sure to be extra careful. He closed the door softly, and plopped down on the couch. He turned on the Holonet in an attempt to catch up with the latest news. Ten minutes passed before he heard the front door slide open. "Hey sweetie" he said, standing up. Jaina smiled as she pulled off her coat. "Where's Jaxon?" She asked, noticing her son was not trailing behind his father. Kyp kissed her cheek and smiled, "Napping. He wanted to sleep in our bed." "Oh… Well at least he gets his nap today." Jaina was looking at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Hey… It's not my fault he wanted to spend all day at the Fighter Pilot show with me."

"Uh huh." Jaina laughed lightly, "He can't stop talking about it."

"That and the Bantha he wants for Life Day. Did you find what you were looking for?"

Jaina nodded, picking up a bag from the ground. She pulled out a large stuffed Bantha. "Think he'll like it?"

Kyp smiled, kissing her cheek again. "He'll love it."

She put it back in its bag, and grabbed the groceries she had picked up. By the time she had them all put up, she heard a small voice. "Daddy! You no wake me when mommy come home!" Jaxon was standing in the doorway of their bedroom with his arms folded across his chest. "No fair!"

"Jaxon mommy just got home. I was about to come get you." Kyp suppressed a laugh, noting how much like his mother Jaxon really was.

Jaxon walked with his arms still crossed. He made his way to the kitchen, still looking back at Kyp with an "angry face". He hugged Jaina's legs, still looking at Kyp. Jaina giggled. "Well hey there sweetie" she said, picking up her son to hug him, "I hear you and Daddy had fun today." Jaxon abandoned his bad mood and went into details about their adventure. "Daddy gave me Ice Cweam! And we pwayed wif my X-Wing. I was da webellion, he was the bad guys. I beat him!"

"Oh is that so? So I guess Daddy doesn't get any dessert after dinner huh?"

"Nope," Jaxon shook his head from side to side.

"Hey!"

Jaina looked over at Kyp and winked. You'll get your dessert later.

Kyp winked at her, smiling. Jaina put Jaxon down, "Are you hungry? You must be after fighting off the Imperials!" Jaxon nodded, "Then I get cookie?"

"Cookie after dinner."

"I want cookie" Jaxon frowned.

"After dinner Jax."
