Devil's Door

Summary: "You keep knocking on the devil's door, somebody might just answer you."

A/N: I know the cop said this to Bobby, but what if Jack heard it first.

Chapter 1: The Placement

My stupid social worker Julian Topson, says he found me a new place, I didn't care. I lit a ciggerette in his car and he threatened me to put it out so I did. On his leather seats right where he could see it. I grinned, I saw his face getting angry and angrier. I don't care he lays one finger on me I can get in him into jail. So yeah, Julian found me a home with this old lady named Evelyn Mercer, she's supposed to be a saint so i've heard a million times.

We pull up to a house 5:30 pm and Julian literally yells for me to get out of his car and grab my bags. I lit another ciggerette, he doesn't notice this time as he rings the door bell. You could hear from inside that others lived here, hopefully I thought ' They won't bother me. '

The door opened and the saint stepped out onto the porch smiling. Their was 2 boys behind her and a third coming down the stairs. Her lips we moving but I couldn't hear a word she was saying as Julian elbowed me.

" Sorry, I wasn't listening."

Julian groaned and Evelyn waved him off and repeated herself, " I said, Welcome to my home."

" Yeah, thats what they all say till they get rid of me."I rolledmy eyes as Evelyn had the second oldest, Jeremiah showedmemy room.I was sharing it with the oldest Bobby, or soI was told.I just sat on the bed as Jeremiah asked,

" Aren't you going to unpack?"I glanced at him

" I don't expect to waste away in another house, I'm not going to be here long"I lit another ciggerette as Bobby came through the door and pulled the ciggerette out of his mouth and stomp it out.

" What the hell..."I growled asI glared at the older of the three brothers. Bobby looked like it didn't faze him, then smirked and said,

" No smoking in the house or anywhere."I rolled my eyes and gave Bobby the finger asI got up and left the room.I went down the stairs and Jeremiah accused Bobby of knowing something.

" Maybe I do..." Started Bobby as they heard the scream of "What!" coming fromme and then a thud. " And now he does too. Lets go welcome our new brother to the family."
