Prologue: From the other side of the Hall
As his eyes were glued to the thin figure of the Boy Who Lived as the later walked toward his friends, he wondered about the improvement that went through the boy during their probably last term in the prestigious wizard school. He mused.
A thin and slightly muscular body. A skin than colored a bit, but was actually still pale. Dark and untidy long hair which nearly caressed his shoulders. An average height. Thin and seemingly sweet lips, that were now parted by a warm smile. Green brilliant eyes which were currently shining with mirth, amusement and innocence while his red-haired made huge movement as he was probably telling some useless story.
He looked around him briefly. Some other people shared those characteristics with him. But this sole combination which made Potter was almost too perfect.
Lisa Turpin had green eyes. But hers were tainted by grey patches, if you took a great amount of time to look at. Potter's eyes were entirely green.
Owen Caldwell had wild hair. But his were auburn and could be tamed when the boy bothered to do so. Potter's were as wild as the wind.
Michael Corner had a mouth like Potter's. But when he smiled you would not as touched as when Potter did and looked at you straight in the eyes.
Malcolm Baddock reached the exact same composure Potter did. But his birth patches soiled the effect. Potter's skin seemed like a silk cloth on which nobody has laid hands on.
Seamus Finnegan was as thin as the boy. Theodore Nott, Terry Boot, Justin Flinch-Fletchley and Dean Thomas were too. But their body were not developed the same as each of them had other sportive activities. Seamus Finnegan was a swimmer, which made him a bit taller. Theodore Nott was a fencer, his arms seemed slightly more muscular. Terry Boot was a tennis player but was a freak concerning his diets. Justin Flinch-Fletchley was a rider, he was bow-legged. Dean Thomas was a football player (a soccer), his legs seemed more muscular.
Numerous boys in their year had the same height. Himself was art of those. But Potter was the only one that had this height because his body was built for him to be a seeker. He would be the only one that had it because through the years his features softened and made him look more like his mother than like his father as he did when he was younger.
Waking him from his reverie, a hand gripped his shoulder firmly. He looked up at Theodore who tried to guess what he had been staring at. He smiled mysteriously when his frowned at him.
« We should go now, Blaise » Said the Seventh year Slytherin. He nodded and got up without looking back at the Gryffindor table from where a pair of green eyes was staring at him.
Here is my first fanfic. it won't be too much, mostly several drabbles about how they noticed, will meet and evolve together. I hope you'll like it! ;)
