Title: Breakfast Bickering
Rating: G
Pairing: Conner/Kira/Ethan friendship
Disclaimer: I don't own Power Rangers Dino Thunder.
Notes: Short, silly drabble. This is so not one of my best stories. I had this idea stuck in my head for a while, and decided it had to get out and make some place for some new ideas. Written nearly a year ago, and finally I'm posting it outside of my Livejournal.
Summary: Conner has some strange habits that Kira doesn't approve of.

"Oh, come on, Conner! You can't possibly be serious!" Kira stood in the McKnights' kitchen, arms crossed over her chest and Ethan at her side. Both watched Conner shuffle through drawers and cupboards, pulling out various items.

"What?" the Red Ranger asked.

"Cereal for lunch? That's so not healthy," Kira told him.

Conner purposely ignored her as he sat down at the kitchen table, his back to her, and proceeded into pouring the cereal into a bowl and adding milk to it. "Why did you come here in the first place, again?" he mumbled through a mouthful of food.

"Saturday training with Dr. O.," Kira re-explained impatiently. "We wanted to make sure that the King of the sleeping in people would be up in time." And indeed, Ethan and herself had had to literally drag Conner out of bed. "And, of course, you can't eat lunch like Ethan and I did; you have to eat breakfast. And that's just… not healthy," she repeated.

"She's got a point, dude," Ethan pointed out.

"Why does it bother you so much, Kira?" Conner asked. Not having an answer to that, she kept her mouth shut, and he continued. "It's… 11:12 in the morning. I consider that as breakfast time still. In my book, lunchtime isn't until noon."

"He's got a point," Ethan told Kira, who scowled at him. "Okay, dude, I'll get off your back and stop interfering in the argument – if I can have some of these."

"Help yourself," Conner said dismissively, his attention all on ignoring Kira's ranting as much as possible.

"Sweet! Thanks, man," Ethan said as he joined his friend at the table, bowl and spoon in hand.

Kira looked on in disbelief. "Ethan! I thought you were on my side!"

"I was, but then Conner made some valid points," the Blue Ranger defended himself. "Plus, these are good," he added, indicating his bowl.

Kira merely rolled her eyes and sighed loudly. "Boys."

This time both boys turned to face her, but not before trading a mischievous glance. "Come on, Kira. I know these are your favorite!" Ethan taunted, holding up the cereal box.

"You know you want some!" Conner said in a singsong voice. "Give in to the temptation."

The Yellow Ranger scowled. "That is so childish of you."

"Nope. You are the one behaving rather childishly, my friend," Ethan told her. "This whole argument, which you started, by the way, is pointless and stupid."

"No, it isn't!" Kira's protest was quite feeble.

"Come on, come on!" Ethan and Conner chanted.

The yellow-clad girl growled, finally giving in to the temptation. These cereals did look good, after all, and it was true that they were her favorite. "Oh, alright!" She snatched the box from Ethan's hand and stalked over to the cupboards to retrieve a bowl.

The boys watched her, smirking. "We won you over."

"No, you didn't," Kira snapped. "I swear you guys corrupted me."
