A/N: This is set at the beginning of Buffy season 7 and Angel season 4. Pretend Spike never went away at the end of season 6 and so he never got a soul.
Disclaimer: I do not own anything to do with Buffy or Angel, I only own my ideas.
Love Solves Everything
Chapter One
"Willow? Did it work?" Dawn looked to her sister for even the slightest sign of improvement.
"I dunno. Why don't you ask her something? Something she should know." Anya sprang up and started drawing pictures. She brought them over to Buffy. They were pictures of vampires and various demons.
"Okay, so now, what would you do if you saw one of these?" Buffy looked at them for a second and then opening her mouth, began to scream. Xander went towards her and covered her mouth while Anya just stood and blinked.
"Okay not quite the reaction I was hoping for, but at least it's a reaction, even if it's not very positive, you know, it was actually quite a sensible reaction." She turned around and looked at the others. "Don't you think?"
They all rolled their eyes at her.
Dawn looked at Willow again. "What do we do now?" Willow looked at her and then at the others.
"Now we bring in the big guns. We need Angel." There were protests at this, mainly Xander's. Giles spoke up from his corner of the room.
"Aren't they busy trying to stop an apocalypse at the moment?" He asked, frowning.
Willow shook her head. "Nope, got a phone call this morning saying 'apocalypse has been diverted' so everything's a-okay." She grinned at them.
"Okay, next question." Everyone turned to look at Xander. "Are they coming here, or are we going over there?"
"We'll go over there. They've got a hotel we can sleep in; it'll be like a mini holiday. Besides, I think it will be good to get Buffy away from all the stuff going on here in Sunnydale.
"What about Spike?" Dawn asked.
"What about him?" Xander replied.
Dawn scowled at him before going upstairs to pack while Willow phoned Angel to inform him of their plans.
Later, after everyone had left and Willow was busy with Buffy, Dawn called Spike to let him know what was happening.
Spike glared at his new cell phone which was at the moment vibrating so hard it was about to fall off of the arm of his chair.
He picked it up and answered the call.
After a few seconds of conversation, he set the phone back down and began to plan for his trip back to the hellhole more commonly known as LA.
