Epilogue

"People belong in places suitable for their living, where they will be able to live. A place suitable for living is often hard to find, but easy to tear away from. Humans, like Pokemons, will have a large chance of dying or be fatally hurt if not in their natural habitat."-These were the words of Professor Welt as he began his presentation. "I had been trapped in the space station Flight for 5 years, I should know" There were a few whispers in the crowd, they all remembered what happened to the space station Flight the year after it was launched. They had detected a problem with the onboard computer; it wouldn't listen to any commands. It took 5 gruesome years to fix it, many had given up hope, and they thought the station was never coming back. But eventually they fixed it, but not after 10 people had gone insane and 5 people died of hunger. Amazingly, no Pokemon got hurt; it was because of the Pokemon that the humans were even able to survive that long.

"After the long trip, I had decided that I was one of the lucky few who got a chance to experience life and death situations. I got out of this alive. But many others have not. After some thinking, I had an idea. What if there was something to fix this-Something to rescue the people and Pokemons trapped in those terrible conditions? I began to work around that idea, and after years of hard work, I finally came to a solution. What we need is something to get us to those people who need help, to let us immediately teleport to that place. We would save countless lives, and reduce the risk of having to do surgery. That is what we need-And so, without further delay, let me introduce my years of hard work: The Quantum Gates!

Chapter 1: Tarin

After a long day of school, Tarin would always run home from school with his friends chasing after him. Since he was always the fastest, no one actually bothered to chase him anymore. Today, Tarin ran extra fast, not to home, but to the Shroom County's PokemonCenter.

Tarin Monet was just a normal kid, or so he thought. A few months ago, after Tarin's parents got divorced; Tarin's mom got him a Growlithe as a special present so that he wouldn't be so upset. The Growlithe was a special present, not only because it was a strong one that's quite possibly between Lv.23-Lv.26, but also because it was a reminder of the special memory of what took place on that day. The Growlithe had been a great friend to Tarin; she always liked to bite Tarin's leg playfully. Tarin nicknamed her Remen. When Tarin has to stay home alone, Remen would always play with him, so Tarin was never alone. When Tarin was sad, Remen would lick his face to comfort him. Once, a couple of bullies tried to beat up Tarin. Tarin ran home, and they followed him. Tarin tried to fight back, he managed to beat down two of them, but they were too much to handle. All of a sudden Remen jumped out and tackled them down. The rest of the bullies ran away. Tarin was very grateful of Remen.

It's too bad he didn't see it coming…
