The Life was living up to its name when they entered: the place seemed to be alive with people that day, their voices filling up the little building and flowing out into the street. Mark peered around, looking for anything that remotely resembled an empty table while Roger grabbed menus, even though they both had long ago memorized them. Waiters and customers alike were pushing passed the two, rushing in and out not even noticing either male.

Grabbing Roger's arm, Mark pulled him towards a table that had just opened up, not caring that the waiter was still cleaning it up from the last customers. He had to push passed a few people, earning him multiple glares that Roger was quick to return, but they managed to grab the spot before anyone else.

"What's going on today," Mark questioned as he settled himself across from his friend. "It's never this crazy." His camera soon appeared from it's bag and Mark began to film the chaos.

Roger on the other hand seemed dazed, glancing at the table before him, then out into the crowd. "I don't know," he finally mumbled. "Maybe they're just getting good buisness."

Raising an eyebrow at his friends sudden change of mood Mark pointed his camera at the other, "What's up? You seem a bit off?"

Roger shrugged. "It's nothing," he answered, his fingers running against the wall beside him. "I haven't sat here in a while s'all."

Glacing around the camera it took Mark a moment to realize where they were. "Aprils table?" He questioned hesitantly.

Roger nodded. "Yeah." Removing his hand from the wall, he opened the menu, choosing to stare down at it instead of meeting Mark's gaze.

"We can find somewhere else to sit," offered the filmmaker, looking with his camera to see if any other tables opened up.

Shaking his head again, Roger sighed. "No, we probably won't find one anyway."

Mark nodded. "Yup, it just got snagged by some girls...Hey, wasn't April the one to first take us here anyway?"

He was quiet for a moment before answering. "Yeah, yeah she was. Remember she used to work here in the beginning?"

"Oh yeah! She saw a flyer outside and ended up going to one of your shows." Mark grinned. "I remember filiming her in the crowd the first time, she winked at me then blew you a kiss."

"Yeah, you still have that film don't you?" Roger questioned with an odd look in his eyes.

"Mmhmm, never got rid of it or anything. Should still be stored away somewhere." Mark caught the look in his friend's gaze but chose to stay quiet this time. April was a touchy subject, for both of them really, but with Roger he knew to tread lightly.

Roger was taking the topic unusually well though. "First time we came here, remember how happy she was we showed up?" Laughing a bit he added, "Well she was happy I showed up, she was a bit put off by you and that camera."

"She was always a bit skittish around the camera," Mark pointed out as he filmed a table across from them. "She always said that I was trying to catch her soul in here or something like that."

Roger laughed again, "Yeah, I remember that."

Before either one of them could go deeper into their memories a server approached. "Sorry guys," The young woman started, "It's insane here today. What'll you two have?"

Mark pointed his camera to their waitress as Roger nodded, "We noticed." The waitress squirmed under the aritfical gaze of the camra lense. "Ya'know some people don't like being filmed, they'll think you're trying to steal their souls."

Neither boy repressed their laugher.
