Okay, this is also the first poem I've ever wrote for Gundam Seed! This is based on DxM! Miriallia wrote it during the end of the war. Just to inform you all, I've given up on poetry after I was assigned to write one about all the school years I've had so far (that was last year) and so since I was inspired by this couple, I decided to give it another whack! So please don't be too harsh. Oh and review and let me know what you think about it so my writer's ego about poetry might still be at least a spark.
I Thought I Hated You
The first time I met you
You were arrogant and rude
A feeling inside me was born anew
Hatred.
I know why I tried to kill you
I was clouded in sadness and pain
But why did I save you?
What was I trying to gain?
You were a puzzle to me
You protected me from war
Why does my cheeks burn
With every cocky grin you bore?
You made me feel nervous when you're around
You made me feel happy with every joke you say
You made me feel worried when you're fighting
But I thought these feelings were self-bound
Until this faithful day
You've swept away my tears
And I no longer mourn
And because of you
Something familiar was born
Love.
