A/N: I'm sorry about the wait to anyone reading my fanfic Denying Facts because I wanted to write some of my chapters down before I posted them but now I can't find the (serves me right for trying to actually clean my room). Anyway here is a story I wrote when I was in a bitter mood in Photo class.

Disclaimer: I do not own Supernatural, if I did...well...be glad I don't...lol...

Tears

Dean Winchester never cried. That was just his way. He always has to be the strong one; not just for himself, but for his little brother. Dean was not just an older brother, but a substitute parent. Dean learned from an early age that his job was to protect his brother and from then on he devoted his life to that one job.

Tears were weakness in Dean's eyes; well, at least his tears were considering his tears would worried Sam. Whenever there was a hunting trip Dean would protect Sam and in return Sam worshiped his older brother like a god. When Sam left for Stanford Dean understood deep down that Stanford was the right place for his brother. Yet in rage he yelled at Sam telling him that he was dead to Dean. Dean had to walk way to avoid seeing his brother cry like a five year old that had scraped his knee.

Four years later after Jess died Dean got Sam back for the most part. Sam was still the awkward guy that got nervous around pretty women; yet, he was broken more then Dean knew how to fix. Dean's only solution was to keep his brother busy. But soon Sam became thinner and thinner and couldn't seem to fall asleep without having a nightmare like vision.

Dean was able to fight any demon or supernatural being, but this wasn't a supernatural being. This was a normal person. Dean and Sam had traveled to Matte, Oregon to investigate a potential story. This guy that they were questioning didn't like the questions they were asking so he pulled out his 35mm. Dean had heard gunshots before but this time Dean felt his chest tightening even before the impact happened.

He kneeled down on the grass that was wet with the morning dew. He lay a rose down on the soft dirt that had just been dug. He ran his hands over the engraved words that read Sam Winchester on the gray tombstone. Next to his was a tombstone with the words' Jessica Lee Moore.

"I'll find out what got her. I promise I won't let you down Sammy. I love you baby brother." Dean sobbed softly. Dean Winchester never cried, but this time he made an exception.

A/N: I promise I'll have the new chapter of Denying Facts up by the end of this weekend at the max! Remember me like my reviews...
