Chapter 1
It has been fifty-two years since the fall of the Empire. Luke Skywalker, the last of the Jedi Knights, has died and the age of the Jedi is over. News of the final great peacemaker's death stretched to all parts of the galaxy. The news, while upsetting most, was to some, a blessing in disguise.
The death of Skywalker was exactly what the radical leader Ree-Hees was waiting for. Ree-Hees is the prodigal son of Ree-Yees, a Gran criminal who was on Jabba the Hut's court.
Ree-Hees was furious with the fall of the Empire to the rebel forces. He was out to seek revenge on the new found government. Over the fifty-two years after the fall of the Empire, Ree-Hees had been traveling across the galaxy, trying to find other beings that would be loyal to his cause to overthrow the Republic and regain the Empire's order.
It proved much easier than Ree-Hees thought to find other people to help him. After only twenty-five years Ree-Hees had approximately two-million loyal soldiers. Scouts of his radical campaign, which had named themselves The Red Blade, found a hidden system that was once a training ground for sith warriors. When Ree-Hees saw the system that was cloaked by the dark side of the force and was the last place in the galaxy where he could hide his army, he said to himself, "From this place I shall launch an attack on the galaxy so swift and so heated that no being still loyal to the Republic will survive.
Coruscant, 4 Days After the Death of Skywalker
"General I have known about this Red Blade colony for years. My brother was also aware of them, we decided that they were of no importance and would inflict little if any damage if they assaulted us." said Queen Leia.
General Kaship and Queen Leia were in the conference room in the capital building in the galaxy's capital, Coruscant. "Leia, this is a pressing matter, I'm not just telling you this professionally, but as friend I am giving you advice. The Red Blade is growing, and they have been for the past twenty-seven years. Our scouts found their home system, it used to be a sith training ground and was cloaked by the force so that no one could find it. The Red Blade has grown; it is now more than physically powerful enough too put up an excellent fight."
"What is the size of their forces?" inquired the Queen.
"They have grown to approximately the size of two-million well equipped troops with armored and air support. They also have a large fleet of star cruisers that, unfortunately, are well more advanced than our own." Replied Kaship.
"You are correct." said Leia with a stunned look. "This is a pressing matter."
