Altered Truths
Summary:
A young woman has no idea why a secret military group is chasing her, but she has no intentions to find out. Her life has been ruined because of them and she has nowhere to run except to an old friend who may not even remember her. She hopes that he does and if he doesn't what will she do? The one she flees to for protection is an ex-Gundam pilot and now heads the new Mars colony in space. She has strong doubts he or anyone else she once knew will remember her, but she knows they are her last hope.
Introduction:
Mika didn't know what to do. She had nowhere left to run. Her long raven black hair that ended at her waist fell over her shoulders as her ocean grey eyes looked at the darkened ground in horror. Her mind screamed with fear, sadness, and strong anger as it ran through the night's events.
"How could this have happened?" she asked herself. "Why did they d such a thing? What do you want with me!" she asked aloud to no one. Her once white tanked top was muddy and her once blue jeans were caked with dirt. As she sat on a cliff that was overlooking the newly formed Sanc Kingdom, her mind formulated an idea.
