We were in the Room of One Thousand Fountains,
Meditating.
Master Ab'rid'gi'ro had just taught us
How to reach the Force
By silencing all the voices in our heads.
There was a boom,
We felt the pain,
The death,
And Master Ab'rid'gi'ro,
He told us to find a safe place.
So we ran,
We ran from the sound
Of waterfalls,
From the loud booms,
From the feeling of death,
To the nearest turbolift.
I pushed a button,
A random button,
A button that would take us away from the pain.
The turbolift stopped at the dining hall,
And the doors opened.
One of us screamed,
Seeing menacing white armor,
And a flashing blue lightsaber.
I slammed my palm down,
Hard,
On another button.
We went up,
Up,
And the doors opened,
Revealing the entrance to the Council chamber.
"C'mon!" I cried, seeing no sign of danger.
We ran into the chamber,
And closed the door,
And hid behind the council chairs.
"What's happening?" asked a boy.
Before I could reply, the door opened.
Anakin!
We all know him.
He will keep us safe.
"Master Skywalker!" I cry. "There's so many of them! What are we going to do?"
