Summary: Kotarou always seems to be in trouble. When Tatsuki runs away and isn't there, what will happen to Kotarou?

"God, I love that sound," Kotarou stated to no-one imparticular.
He was shooting hoops at a nearby basketball court. He frowned in annoyance as the last streetlight flickered out. 'Aw, man, now there's no more light and I have to be around stupid Tatsuka. Honestly! All he ever does is try to stay away from me!' Kotarou looked up at the sky just in time to get a raindrop right in the eye. "Come on! Can this day get any worse!"
"Yeah, kid, a lot worse," an unknown voice stated from the dark nothingness around him.
"Huh? Wh-Who's there? Yuuto? Is that you? You tryin' to play tricks on me agaain?" Kotarou laughed nervously, and it seemed to die on the thick air. "Yuuto?"
"Guess again, kid." That was the last thing Kotarou heard for a long while as he suddenly felt a sharp pain in the back of his skull. As his mind faded into blackness, his last thought was, 'Why does this always happen to me?'
