Seven Years
A little boy,
in a village of green.
Plays between the tall, tall trees.
Having fun,
to fulfill his needs.
But, the boy must leave,
to save a kingdom he has never seen.
From the great darkness,
and the man who is heartless.
The Sword in the Stone,
in the Temple of Time, he draws.
Finally his Fate, hears he caw.
The Sword in the Stone,
and a Hero named Link,
to save the world from a disastrous brink.
Seven years, has he lost,
but what a small cost.
For now, hanging by a thread, is the world,
of whose burdens, he carries on his shoulder.
For seven years shall he never regain,
as a little boy,
playing his little games.
