It's Christmas time, and everyone is buying presents for their friends. Ron decides to buy Harry... clip-on sunglasses!
Harry looked at his friend. "Are you mad?" he asked.
"What? Don't you like them? Dad said that muggles wear them when it's sunny..." Ron looked somewhat hurt.
"Yeah, people like Uncle Vernon!"
"Oh...wait, does your uncle even wear glasses?"
Harry looked down, embarassed and ashamed. "...No..." he muttered.
Harry put the glasses on, even though they were indoors. Just then, Cho Chang walked by, hand in hand with Zacharias.
"Harry!" Cho looked at him, shocked and horrified by his clip-on sunglasses. "What in Merlin's name are you wearing!"
"C-clip-on s-sunglasses..." he said, turning red with embarassment.
"Nice..." Zacharias said, raising his eyebrow.
"Uh, we have to be going..." Cho told Harry, dragging Zacharias away as fast as she could.
Harry stared after them, vowing to get back at Zacharias at the next D.A. meeting.
Suddenly, Malfoy and his cronies sauntered in. "Hello Potter," Malfoy sneered. "Nice... what is that thing?"
"What do you want, Malfoy?" Harry asked.
"Shove off, Malfoy!" Ron interrupted. "You wish you wore glasses so you could have a pair of clip-on sunglasses!"
Malfoy laughed at the red-heads idiocy. "Suuuuure, Weasley. I think you're just too poor to buy Potter a decent gift."
"What do you want, Malfoy?" Harry asked, stupidly not reaching for his wand.
Malfoy looked confused at the repeated question. 'Didn't he just ask that?' he wondered.
"To jinx you!" Malfoy cried. He cast a spell to make his rival do a jig. Somehow, Harry managed to stop dancing, but the damage was done. His new clip-on sunglasses lay on the gound, right in the path of Crabbe's foot.
"No!" shrieked Ron, but it was too late.
Crunch.
"Now look what you've done, you fat toad!" Harry cried. He turned to comfort his friend, only to see tears welling up in his eyes.
Ron's lips trembled, then he let out an ear-piercing scream. "Wah!" he cried, then ran away.
Harry, Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle stared after him.
"Okay, maybe you were right, back in first year," Harry said to Malfoy, still in shock from seeing his friend run away in tears. "He's crazy."
"Glad you finally figured it out," Malfoy responded, his eyes wide.
"I'm hungry," Goyle informed the group, so they decided to go get lunch.
The students who remained and all of the teachers stared in shock as Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter, Vincent Crabbe, and Greggory Goyle walked in, silent and pale.
"Harry?" asked Hermione. Harry shook his head, and sat down next to Malfoy.
"Pass the peas, please."
The End.
