Prologue - Seeing the Red
It starts as a headache.
Nothing that I need asprin for, just a dull pain in my head. After a while, it starts to get more and more painful, but I know that painkillers won't work. Soon, I don't know what it is like to exist without that throbbing in my head. It just is.
Then, trendils of red start to creep into the corners of my eyes. Like a bloody mist, they appear like cateracts until suddenly, an intense pain will shoot through my head and I have to close my eyes to keep out the blinding white light burning the back of my eyes. There is no escape from that pain, just try not to scream.
Finally, after wly under Her spell, doing her bidding.
But, until then, I retreat to my room and lock the door. I will keep myself distanced from everyone, praying that the Doctor will come back. Until he does, I have to try and stop myself from seeing the red.
