A Malfoy Creates His Own Destiny
Draco Malfoy eyed his arm with disgust. The alabaster skin was now marred by the hideous mark of Voldemort. A twinge of pain, a normal occurence since his betrayal in June, caused him to twitch slightly but otherwise he showed no sign of feeling it.
He revisited that night in his dreams. Dumbledore kneeling, weak, in front of him; his hesitation at the understanding he saw in his headmaster's eyes; Snape's voice saying the words that killed him.
Now both sides wanted him dead. Even if he had to kill himself, he wouldn't give them the satisfaction.
