There is mainly nothing to say about how the story goes. It all started with a girl, or two girls, who are half sisters. One was disfavored. The other was loved and pretty. The disfavored one, Ayane, had plum purple hair, while the other, Kasumi, had red hair and a little blush on the cheeks. Now, the story begins with…
I don't own any of the DOA characters. Tecmo does. Lucky bastards!
Ayane somersaulted in the air like an acrobat, thrusting her sword towards her so-called enemy, Kasumi. Then, Ayane landed on her feet softly like a cat.
"I'm tired of you always doing this to me!" Kasumi said.
Ayane swung her sword back and forth, slashing the air with it. A smile then appeared on her face. It was smirk.
"I don't see why it's the time to smile," Kasumi answered.
Ayane charged like a buffalo, with her sword pointed at Kasumi. She pulled it back and thrust it. Ayane had realized that she hadn't punctured any skin.
"You seem to be controlled by hatred and blindness," said Kasumi.
"Oh. Now you know!" Ayane yelled.
Kasumi still hadn't drawn out her katana for Ayane. All Kasumi did to fight back was dodging her thrusts of the pointed sword.
"You stupid jerk. You're the one that stole everything from me," Ayane hissed.
"Not everything," Kasumi said. "At least you still have a life. A life that is better than mine."
"Explain that to me," Ayane responded.
"Do you have people chasing after you every single day? People who want to kill you because of some stupid rule."
"Stupid? How dare you say that about the Shinobi code," Ayane argued.
"Well, I'm not part of the clan anymore."
"Well that's good," Ayane commented. "At least someone else can take the place as heroine."
"Like who?" Kasumi countered.
"Someone different, who shares the glory with others."
"And I never shared my glory?" Kasumi asked, raising her voice.
"Just think about it," said Ayane. "I don't think you ever did."
"Well, that's where you're wrong!" Kasumi argued.
"Wrong like always," Ayane sighed, rolling her eyes.
"I tried doing everything nice for you, but you never accepted them. You would always push me aside, thinking that you could take the next level, but you couldn't!" Kasumi shouted.
"Of course I couldn't," Ayane growled. "Because you were holding me back!"
"Only because you would get hurt!"
"Hurt! You want to see what hurt is!" Ayane drew out her sword again and dashed towards Kasumi with the sword pointed towards her half sister like an arrow.
Finally, Kasumi slashed out her katana and clashed it against Ayane's. Sparks flickered off of the sword and katana.
"I hated you for everything!" Ayane snarled, pushing her sword against Kasumi's.
"Maybe you should look at those feelings again," said Kasumi, pushing her katana against Ayane's sword.
"Why look when I already know!"
"Can't you just let this go?"
"And let it go where?" Ayane asked. "Up your butt?"
Kasumi could feel tears surging through her eyes. All she ever wanted was happiness for her young sister, but it became trash. Kasumi twisted her whole body around with her katana defending every blow from Ayane. Then, quicker than light, Kasumi used the edge of her palm and struck Ayane's neck like breaking a block of wood.
Ayane dropped her sword, which was the only noise in the forest of trees, and slowly slumped, to the ground. Before she could see darkness, she saw Kasumi's face wet with tears.
"I'm sorry for that, too," Kasumi muttered, running again.
