I don't care what they say about my eating habits. I really don't. They think I actually like to eat this…this slop. Well I may be young but I need ways to cope too. I don't like alcohol…I only drink Colonel Blake's brandy to look older than 21.
I guess I eat to escape. The more I eat the more easily I can remember the last meal I had at home on the farm.
Mom made roast beef, corn cobs, peas, carrots and for dessert chocolate cake! I know this will never be the same as mom's cooking but if I focus hard enough I can almost smell the roast beef…and mom's perfume.
