and this couldn't have proved it any more that my dreams come from the divine
i woke up at 3:00 this morning, for it came to me in a dream.
all the narrations in my dream were by Joey, but it can be whomever you want,
it was kinda scary, seeing Seto take me (Joey) by the hand like that and stuff
but i had to get it down on paper, then i went back to sleep
and im giving it to you guys now
and now for "Baby, We Need to Talk."
He said those words,
"Baby, we need to talk."
And he took me by the hand and led me on a thousand mile walk,
I don't understand!
We were happy,
We were smitten,
Our love shined brighter than the sun,
I don't know what I could have done,
To deserve those agonizing words,
Those atrocious, painful words,
I thought about what he said again,
As we went on that thousand mile walk,
"Baby, we need to talk."
It felt like the end of my life,
Like a sharp, rusty, life-ending knife,
I more timid than a new born kitten,
We were in love, completely smitten,
What did I do wrong to deserve such horrifying, terrifying words.
We stopped,
I looked upon the knife,
The room that would end my life,
All over five simple but heart-wrenching words.
He opened the door and I stepped in to face my fate,
To save our relationship would be too late,
For I couldn't speak.
He said those piercing, knife-like words again,
"Baby, we need to talk."
He went over to the entrance and then shut door
I felt sick, I felt like dying,
For he was… smiling.
He took me by the hand once more,
And pulled an object out of his pocket.
I don't understand!
What is going on?
The next thing he said made me want to faint…
It was, "Will you marry me?"
I was overcome with joy over this wish, this whim
He didn't want to break up with me!
Now I can spend the rest of my life with him!
I guess those five words aren't as horrifying now.
