Disclaimer: They do not belong to me. If they did, the show wouldn't be over.
Harm: Oh yeah, you never heard. We are s popular that the night I proposed to
you there just happened to be a news reporter at the resturant and it was all
over the newsfor rhe next week.
Me: The reporter just happened to be there? Why don't I believe you? Wait, is
that why we didn't turn on the T.V. or the radio for a week after we got
engaged?
Harm: That is one reason. I don't understand why you don't believe me about
the reporter. The only person I told about my proposing before tha night, was
the admiral.
Me: Ok, so I'm totally screwed.
Harm: Why do you say that?
Me: Because I don't have antone to corraborate my story of being in the
office all day. I mean heck I sent most of the morning talking to Mic.
As soon as we hung up it was time to go to lunch. When we got back, I
got the call from the police.
Harm: The Harriett should put you on the stand. You can tell the court
exactly what you told me.
Me: I t won't be that easy. The only person who can corraborate me talking
to Mic is Mic and he's dead. And the only person who can officially
corraborate me going to lunch with you is you and you won't help me. So,
in otherwords, I'm screwed!
Harm: Not necessarially.
Me: How can you say that? What are you, crazy?
Harm: Yes (smiles) that's what you love about me right?
Me: When it is approproate. Not when my life is at stake.
Harm: Ok,okay,I'm sorry sweetie.
Me: I forgive you this time.
And so Harm and I talked until he left twenty minutes later when
Harriett got back from lunch. After Harm left, Harriett and I tried to come
up with a strategy. We did a lot of work for nothing though. The case never
went to trial because Harm did as he said he would and talked to Renee. I
don't know how,but he talked her into confessing to her husband's murder. She
was convicted and sentenced to 20-60 years in jail.
You're thinking that's the end right? Wrong. I was released from prison
and the Admiral and Merideth came back from Italy and Merideth is pregnant.
