Her Sweetness: -yawns- Oh… I dunno.
—Dreamt—
"I-I had a dream last night."
The air over the sea drifted melodically, following the setting sun as it sent the rest of the sky into a parade of colors. Never purple, never orange or red but every color all at once. The wet sand slid under his bare feet as he walked carefully to the water's edge, passing small sand crabs on the way. The beach was warm, the air and the smell of salt water calmed him. His silver locks hung down by his shoulders, relaxing almost the way he was relaxing.
Water was rushing towards the shore.
He walked faster, gently swinging his hips, trying to get to the water faster. But he didn't know why. What was in the water?
He was getting closer to the shore and, for no reason, his gaze shifted from where they were once fixated, from the water pushing seaweed onto the sand to the man standing already at the shore. The man watched it intently, almost as intently as he had watched it. He stopped advancing towards his destination, one foot held in mid-step as his soft chocolate eyes rolled down the white suit the man was wearing.
Slowly but quickly, the man whipped his head around.
"…" He blinked, watching as the man's hand rose and was finally held out to him.
"… Me?"
"What was it about?"
"I'm… not really sure. It was pretty strange."
The man nodded, his deep cerulean eyes twinkling lightly. A motion was made for him to come and he did, reaching out for the hand that was being offered to him as he stepped forward, over the sand crabs and seaweed and small seashells. Their hands were two inches away before the sky turned violent. Purple and orange and red turned to dark gray and black, swirling and dissolving the beautiful salty air to nothing but debris-ridden, stormy weather.
He looked up, confused at the sudden change of weather. And when he looked back down he was alone. The man had dispersed as well as everything else. He frowned worriedly and took a step back, his foot was greeted with a teetering sensation and he gasped, turning around to find that the ocean had gone. There was only himself on a narrow ledge over an abyss.
He looked down, holding his hands in each other and fidgeting with them as he shot a quick glance behind himself.
Nothing was there.
His back bristled at the cold air that floated around his body, making him shiver and take cautious steps forward. But as his bare feet became closer and closer to the jagged edge and as he let his hands go from one another, he looked over the edge and saw himself starring up at him.
"It was kind of scary too, but…"
He mouthed the words back up at himself and he struggled to make them out.
'Don't… let… him… go.'
He stumbled back when his own form suddenly lunged up at him. When he fell back, he was falling for what seemed like forever. Blackness came around him and as he looked up from where he fell, he saw a figure walking away and soft brown hair blowing behind it. He blinked and fell onto something soft.
Still scarred, he reached and felt around him before opening his chocolate eyes. The short cut grass felt soft and gentle beneath his fingers. Recognizing it as grass, he opened his eyes to a familiar sight. Blue eyes loomed over him.
"Are you alright?"
"…I…"
"But…?"
"… I need to ask you something."
The familiar face tilted as he sat up, not concentrating on anything but his features. The two blue eyes twinkled again as the voice asked, "What?"
"P-Please go out with me…"
"Please go out with me."
