A/n Just another one-shot drabble I thought of one day.

Disclaimer; I don't own Yu Yu Hakusho or its characters. Woo-hoo.

He held his ear tightly, a piece of cork placed behind it. It the other hand he held the safety pin that had been dipped in rubbing alcohol. A shaky breath left his lips as he angled the sharp pointed object of metal just right.

"3...2...1..." He counted, before jamming the pin throw his earlobe. An instant, sharp pain was felt. It connected with the cork on the other side, signaling it had gone throw successfully. He looked at his ear. A trail of blood slowly ran down from the hole.

After removing the end from the cork, he took the safety pin out and replaced it with a small earring. Softly, he ran his finger down his ear, ignoring the slight pain it caused, and admired his work.

He reached over and picked up a wad of paper towel that was dunked in the same rubbing alcohol he used to sterilize the safety pin. He wiped away the drying blood, then rubbed it around the base of the earring.

Confidant in his accomplishment he threw away the wet towel and put away the alcohol. He looked into the mirror in front of him, blue eyes staring back into his own. A fang slipped out between his lips as he smirked.

"Nice, very nice," he said to himself before walking out of the bathroom and into his own room.

Rinku stared intently at the person in front of him. More precisely, his ear. He cocked his head to the side in wonderment.

"Jin, what's on your ear?" The wind master touched his right lobe and shrugged. He felt the small, green rock that was securely stationed on his ear.

"An earring. I pierced it," he replied, before shoveling a spoonful of food into his mouth. Rinku nodded, then picked up the magazine (which was about tattoos) that laid between them. He quickly flipped through the book, before bending the pages and showing it to the wind master.

"At least you didn't do this," he pointed at the picture. The guy had an barbell going from the top cartilage of his ear to the bottom, like a connector. Jin cringed slightly.

"Aye, if I did that whenever I was happy my ear would rip," he exclaimed as he sympathetically rubbed his left, un-pierced ear. Rinku snorted.

"Do you think you can pierce my ear too?" he asked. Jin grinned ear to ear.

"Of course." he leaned across the small table and cupped his hand over the child's ear. "Just don't tell Touya or Suzuki. They'd flip." Rinku's eye widened as Jin got up from the table.

"Wait, you mean they don't know about yours yet? How?" Jin answered him by taking a beanie that was hidden in the pocket of his hoodie, and tugging it over his head. It effectively covered his ears. Rinku smirked as he hopped off the chair and followed JIn out of the room.

"You got another on of those?"

"Yep!"

A/n Uh huh. Where'd they get the magzine and beanie hat, you ask? Well, they're living in the human world in Genkia's woods. Yep, with Shishi, Suzuki, Touya, and Chuu. It seems to be a common theme in all the stories that have them in it. Whatever.

Review.
