Be Prepared
Sam closed his phone. "No signal."
"That figures."
"It's the middle of the night. The middle of nowhere."
"Yep," Dean replied.
"The tire's flat."
"Nice grasp of the obvious, college boy."
"A trunk big enough to hold an arsenal..."
"And no spare tire. I heard you the first time, Sammy."
"How did this never come up before?" Sam asked. "Dad was always mister 'be prepared'."
Dean shrugged.
"So, flip for who walks?"
Smirking, Dean said, "I'll go. If you're scared."
"Sit here or walk for miles... feel free."
"Jerk," Dean replied, groaning.
Sam sat, grinning. "But not a gullible jerk."
