Snow
Harry had thought he loved the snow, but now he found himself disliking it to the same degree that he disliked Malfoy. It wasn't that the snow around him wasn't beautiful, thick on the boughs of the trees- it might have been the prettiest thing he'd seen in weeks.
Except that Cho was the prettiest thing he'd seen in weeks. Cho whose cheeks turned pink as she walked through the cold, whose dark eyes were more beautiful than the dark branches of the trees under their sheets of white. Cho who had looked so dissapointed when she had turned him down; Cho who was going to the Yule Ball with Cedric.
No, snow no longer held any beauty- it was just cold and wet.
