Whispers of the heart
He knew it would happen one day.
He was surprised the look in his eyes hadn't given him away, thought he was totally obvious. Was surprised he hadn't blurted it out yet.
Wanted to blurt it out.
But he had managed to keep it in, managed to keep it locked inside his heart. With every touch a little resolve got chipped away though, with every look it got harder to hold back what he wanted to let out so desperately.
He knew it would happen one day. He just didn't expect it to come out like this.
"Thanks Greg. What'd I win?"
